    Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the https://boredhoard.com website operated by The Bored Hoard (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

    Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

    By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

     

    Rules for submission

    Generally we flirt on the side of caution when it comes to rules. However, we also need to set some boundaries when the world wide web comes knocking.

    These rules for site submissions are in place to keep the Hoard a safe, fun and enjoyable place for folks far and wide. So if your site goes against any of the following rules, then we’re going to ask you to get outta town.

    1. No explicit content of any kind (seriously)
    2. Extremist groups or cults (you have Twitter for this)
    3. Fraudulent sites (we’ll get the FBI on your ass)
    4. Dull/Boring sites (read the room dude)
    5. Clickbaiting/Spam (obviously)

    Protecting the community (and our ass)

    We have the right to remove any sites that break these rules. The purpose of these rules is to protect our Hoarders and to ensure the Hoard remains a cool and interesting place, far from the shackles of ads and self – promotion (of the spammy kind).

    We don’t have edit rights or any creative control over the websites we publish and our views are not reflected in the websites that end up in the Hoard.

    The only thing that influences us is if the site is cool. If it is, we’re all for it. We ain’t the selfish kind though, what we might think isn’t cool might not match up with you fine folks. That’s why you’ll find a huge variety of sites here on the Hoard, added by people all over the globe and from different walks of life.

    If further down the road we feel we need further rules to protect the Hoard, then we’re free to do so. Jeez, we sound like the school principal.

    Purchases

    If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including (and without limitation) contact information and payment details.

    Subscriptions

    Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”). You will be billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. If the subscription payment fails, we will be unable to provide the service to you and have the right to restrict your account. Once payment has been received, the restrictions will be lifted and full access will be granted to your account.

    Data we process

    Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”). You are responsible for ensuring this content is safe and secure and abides by the law. Should you post any explicit or illegal content, we have the right to close your account.

    Content

    Special personal information is data about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data.

    Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by The Bored Hoard.

    Changes

    We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 14 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
